Colliers Yard, Manchester City Centre

UR-EKA were introduced to this project quite early in its development. The scheme was split between a residents landscaped park area, boulevard and circulation roads.

TPM created a strong landscape design theme, which faced several geological and archaeological challenges. These affected the foundations and heights of lighting structures, as well as positional restrictions, which required some engineering and lighting design to maintain the technical specification, whilst maintain the original flow of the landscape design.

In addition, careful consideration was taken to interface with the adjoining adopted street lighting installations. Helping to maintain highway standards at junctions with the new site.

The result is a welcoming warm space with a distinctive style and flow, that matches the general architecture of the building development.
