UR-EKA were introduced to this project by RNM Electrical Ltd and asked to provide a technical solution, which provided both a technical and aesthetic solution.

The landscape design had already been developed and remained fairly consistent throughout the contract, with very few changes prior to installation.

Using outdoor products from EXENIA, we produced a scheme which consists of an evenly lit main entrance and circulation route and a more subdued scheme around planters and other landscape features.

Prior to the final approval, UR-EKA produced a spill light study with particular emphasis on the canal side at the rear of the development.

Chester Road offers 188 high-end apartments across two stunning buildings, featuring 3 levels of basement car parking with 166 spaces.

The buildings range in height from 10 storeys to 21 storeys stepping up in height towards the City Centre acknowledging the sites nature as gateway point and mediating between Castlefield and the tall buildings beyond.
